Bens pleased to announce that his third cook book "MOORISH" will be released in April 2019. the book will focus on the Moorish flavours and influences in the Southern Mediterranean including Sicily, Andalaucia and the Balearics. The book will be published by Absolute. More details and updates to follow.



Ben is fronting and creative directing a game cook book in 2019. The book is the brainchild of game enthusiast and philanthropist David Ross. The publication promised to be a stunning collection of game recipes from the UKs best chefs and food writers that Ben will curate and FACE publications will be in charge of making the book look beautiful. we hope the book will raise the profile of game as a sustainable food source and also something that is delicious, versatile and incredible healthy.

Proceeds of the book will go to the David Ross education trust which oversees many education academies in North of England.  Publication date is set for August 2018 to tie in with the start of the grouse shooting season.


Grill, Smoke, BBQ

In 2016 Grill, Smoke, BBQ was published by Quadrille. This book is focused on a new style of barbecue with Mediterranean flavours and a focus on technique, quality of fuel, and thinking out of the BBQ box in terms of what can and can't be done. Grill, Smoke, BBQ has now been released  internationally including Australia and the USA.

Salt Yard Food & Wine From Spain & Italy

In 2012 Ben wrote Salt Yard Food & Wine from Spain & Italy. A restaurant cook book with over 100 recipes from the Salt Yard repertoire, including homemade charcuterie. The book also included essays by well known food journalists, including the relationship between food and sex, and an Iberico pig odyssey.
