Ben is delighted to announce the publication of his fourth book, SICILIA, focusing on the food and food culture of Sicily. The book is available for pre-order now and will be published by Bloomsbury Absolute on June 10th 2021.

Moorish was published in April 2019 to critical acclaim, including being named the Times Magazine cookbook of the year.

In this award-winning book, Ben Tish shines a brilliant light on a wonderfully seductive facet of Mediterranean food culture: through his own personal lens he brings together history, spice and delectable recipes.

Ben has divided the book into chapters based around the way he likes to cook at home - from quick and refreshing light bites and his notorious barbecue food to lazy brunches and slow-cooked dishes that fill the house with evocative scents of the Mediterranean.

Ben Tish curated and creatively directed Glorious Game, which launched in August 2019. The publication is a stunning collection of creative game recipes from the UK’s best chefs and food writers.

The book was the brainchild of game enthusiast and philanthropist David Ross and proceeds go to the David Ross Education Trust, which maintains education academies in the North of England.  

We hope the book will raise the profile of game as a sustainable food source and also something that is delicious, versatile and incredible healthy.


Grill, Smoke, BBQ

Grill, Smoke, BBQ was published in 2016 by Quadrille.

This book is focused on a new style of barbecue with Mediterranean flavours and a focus on technique, quality of fuel, and thinking out of the BBQ box in terms of what can and can't be done. Recipes include Ben’s infamous iberico pork and foie gras burger.

Grill, Smoke, BBQ has now been released internationally including in the USA, Europe and Australia.


Salt Yard Food & Wine From Spain & Italy

In 2012 Ben wrote his first cookbook, Salt Yard Food & Wine from Spain & Italy.

A restaurant cookbook with over 100 recipes from the Salt Yard repertoire, including homemade charcuterie and the infamous stuffed courgette flowers with goats cheese and honey.

The book also included essays by well known food journalists, including the relationship between food and sex, and an Iberico pig odyssey.
